5D Mark II 24p rumor
The 5D MarkII will have 24p, it is already in a firmware running in testing. It was not released due to time but it was planned to be released with the manual control. This is not as easy as some people tend to believe. The codec data rate has 6 frames of spare bandwidth and the file size was still the same as the 30p in the cam I tested. They have to re-code the compression routine in order to run at full speed and not waste file size. This has introduced some problems in stability because the chip can only handle 30p natively and this is basically a hack. No Audio control planned or in the firmware as of yet.via canonrumors.com

Helveticons by Goodbye Horses is a set of 245 royalty-free vector icons, glyphs and symbols in seven formats inspired by the lines of Helvetica Bold. Bit pricey but look like they’d be useful for everything from wireframing to iPhone apps. (via Hayden Hunter)

The Hoptoad redesign launched yesterday and we used Thunder Thimble to monitor Twitter mentions and rate them accordingly. What this graph represents is every mention of Hoptoad yesterday which turned out to be mostly positive in sentiment.

1 bag of thawed dough
1 package of hot dogs
sea salt or kosher salt
Dijon or “deli style” mustard for dipping

Cut into 1 inch thick strips. wrap around the wiener leaving exposed hot dog on either end. drizzle with olive oil or butter and sprinkle a generous amount of course salt (Kosher or sea salt) on top. Put in a 450 degree oven until golden brown then place under the broiler for a couple of minutes to crisp up. ENJOY
